If you book a stay directly via our website and are unable to visit due to COVID restrictions, we would initially try to reschedule your stay, or offer you a reduced price booking for a smaller group. If that's not possible we'll give you a full refund, minus 5% to cover booking fees. We require proof of positive COVID-19 tests or self isolation requirements, or evidence of local lockdown restrictions. Please note: different refund policies may apply if booking through an agency.
We are a new glamping site and have designed our facilities to be suitable for social distancing if required, with private facilities available for each tent. We don't yet know what the COVID -19 situation will be by Spring/Summer 2021, and will follow the guidelines provided by local health authority. Our number one priority is the well-being and safety of our guests and team members.
At present that means the following:
All staff will wash their hands-on arrival and wear PPE provided. All equipment is cleaned and washed at 60 degrees and, where possible, disposable cloths and 70% alcohol sanitiser are used in high-risk areas. All kitchen brushes and sponges will be replaced. Priority will be taken in all ‘high-touch’, horizontal areas and hard surfaces.
Cutlery and crockery will be put through a dishwasher at high temperature between each booking.
We ask guests to remove bed linen and towels themselves after their stay and put in the bag provided. All laundry is washed at 60 degrees.
We will provide ample cleaning supplies, hand sanitisers, soap, kitchen roll and clean towels within your accommodation for you to use.
