Under the stars

Accommodation at Nantseren is a combination of outdoor living and  indoor comfort - with a touch of luxury! Enter through the beautiful glamping barn - large, glazed doors open out on a wooded glade leading onto the meadow, tents and wild spa.

Glamping barn

It used to be our hay barn! Now it's is an atmospheric open-plan glamping barn, with large log burner, seating and dining areas, a well-equipped kitchen plus luxury bathrooms for each tent. Play some pool, table tennis or board games - we've books, maps and local info to help you plan your days. There's  wifi, usb charging points and electrical sockets; our electricity is supplied using a green energy tariff.

Tents

4 tents are 2-3 mins walk from the barn, on  your own private meadow. There are 3 canvas lodges, Pilipala (butterfly), Cadno (fox) and Gwdihŵ (owl - pronounced Good-ee-hoo), plus a large bell tent called Draenog (hedgehog). Each tent sleeps up to 4 on comfy beds (a double and a day bed/two singles), beautifully made up for your arrival. The tents are off-grid; solar lights and rechargeable lanterns provide eco-friendly lighting. There are wood-burning stoves in the canvas lodges and a fire pit near Draenog, with log seating for starry nights by the campfire.

An extra bell tent can also be arranged - contact us for details.

Kitchen

The kitchen in the glamping barn has induction hobs, slow cooker, microwave, cookware, tableware and utensils for your group. There's a dishwasher, 2  fridge freezers, cool boxes and a barbecue outside. Enjoy a complimentary welcome hamper with breakfast for your first morning!

The nearest supermarket and pubs are about 6 miles away, so we recommend either stocking up en route, ordering a delivery online - or booking our catering options for delicious feasts! See Food & celebrations.

A touch of luxury

There's a stylish, heated shower room with toilet for each tent situated in the glamping barn, with powerful rainbow shower and lashings of hot water! Towels are provided, and luxury toiletries from Myddfai Trading Company. It's 2 - 3 minutes walk from the tents to the barn.

Wild spa

The wild spa  is an unforgettable sensory experience. Unwind in a Scandinavian wood-fired hot tub - it's beautiful at sunset, even better after dark!

Dogs and pets

Please note - because we are a working sheep farm, we can only allow guide and assistance dogs.

Accessibility

The glamping meadow is a vehicle-free area - parking is in front of the glamping barn, next to our farmhouse. There are wheelbarrows on hand  to transport your belongings to the tent, though we are on hand and happy to help if needed.

The terrain of the glamping meadow and design of the tents means unfortunately that the tents are not readily accessible for wheelchair users. One of our bathrooms is designed for accessibility, and has baby change facilities. Please contact us if you have special requirements or questions, we would like to accommodate and welcome you if possible.
