See and do

Unspoilt nature and a rich heritage

Theres so much to explore around Llanddeusant -  the glacial lake Llyn y Fan Fach with its legend of Lady of the Lake, the lesser known, remote Llyn y Fan Fawr, the sweeping escarpment of Fan Brycheiniog and the limestone landscape of Mynydd Du. Discover standing stones and stone circles, a Roman camp, an iron-age fort and dramatic castles such as Carreg Cennan. Uncover the secrets of an ancient landscape on your own (see hike and bike), or dig a little deeper on a guided walk with a local expert.

Red Kite Feeding Station

Situated just up the road from Nantseren, feeding time is spectacular to watch - every day, all year round (3pm summer/ 2pm winter). You'll see the birds soaring above your tent.
